 Certification against the SSAIB scheme will demonstrate compliance with ACPO and ACPO (Scotland) policies on Police response to security systems alarms. It enables Xcel to obtain a Unique Reference Number (URN) and therefore a Police response to alarms generate by the systems installed.
This scheme is recognised by insurers and SSAIB is accredited to operate it by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). UKAS Accreditation means that their approach is subject to independent scrutiny and validation against international standards. |
